I went to a private school in Midwest, and I've always been aware of at least a few of our famous alumni.

The fact that you don’t get it says a lot about you.

It’s a question for insecure strivers to ask. Most self aware people don’t want to project this level of insecurity. In addition is also says LMC-

Politicians and their wives come and go. Folks who have lived here for generations are more interested in alums like Dave Grohl and Chris Meloni than John McCain or Barron Trump.

Meloni still comes to his class the reunions, including the most recent one.

He's also in The Bear.

Other Sidwell alums in the arts include Ana Gasteyer (SNL), Thomas Kail (Director of Hamilton on Broadway), Davis Guggenheim (producer/director of multiple movies and TV shows), Margaret Edson (Pulitzer prize winner for Wit), Ann Brashares (author of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants).

Alito did not attend Prep. He grew up in NJ. Neil Gorsuch is the other Supreme Court justice who attended Prep. But, yes, two alumni on the Supreme Court at the same time is impressive.

Dave Grohl isn’t an alum of any school, since he never graduated HS.

It’s like every travel team claiming a pro athlete because they played one year in 9th grade.

But you are not really apart of DC culture. You read articles about those who are.

Even the people in the article read it. But that’s irrelevant. What’s relevant is that it explains why many people will respond as though questions like this are tacky, especially in front of a crowd.

I think what is relevant is that alumni constantly pour money into the school and the hos could not even remember them. Maybe she just remember their donations.

I’m no fan of the HOS, but she’s neither tacky nor callous.

Nice choice of words, but wait a minute, isn’t your post tacky and callous as well. Interesting coincidence.

No.
