You still don’t get it. He doesn’t need to find the “strength to correct what was so wrongly done to him”. The community, including you, needs to be loudly and publicly proclaim his innocence. Help him pay off his debts, regain custody, and find him stable employment. THAT is what he needs. He doesn’t need to be seeking his inner strength.

+1 he's lost years of his life, generated hundreds of thousands in debt he can't pay off, lost custody of his kids. What does "resilience" mean besides saying no one else would be blamed?
