Not a fed but I'm always amazed whenever my family goes out to eat that restaurants are so packed and so pricy. We maybe go out to eat 4x per year so for us it's a rare treat but it seems many people do it all the time. Sounds like some much needed belt-tightening is happening.

As a furloughed fed...not sure these are my peers you're seeing. I've never seen a Rivian in our parking lot. Hasn't hit most of the contractors I know so far.
