Abigail was preachy and couldn’t expand on her positions beyond her campaign TV ad talking points. Like a kid in class who is amazing at memorization but can’t actually critically think on the spot once asked something that wasn’t memorized. You could see her stimming when the camera panned out.

However - that all plays well with the NOVA crowd because they see themselves in her (wonky anxious striver).

Why does the military need more college funding when they already get free tuition through the federal government? If in rotc you get it twice. Once for you and once for your kid. What keeps happening is people keep proposing more give aways for the military. This wasn't something the Democrats took away. They just didn't agree to yet another freebie request that is already covered by another branch of government.

Years ago when I went to NOVACC i was told I don't get financial aid because it "goes to poorer immigrants first" said this to my face I will not ever forget that. It took me more than a decade to pay for my college education taking just a few classes at a time not to go into debt. It still hurts me to this day.
