As a woman I hate the fact she’s going to be called out for this behavior when we all know Trump behaves much worse than this on a daily basis and no one clutches their pearls over his behavior. That being said, would I want to spend time with her? Heck no. And I also don’t think you have to be rude and argumentative to be strong.
If you ignore the abrasive behavior she comes across as unprepared and not willing to discuss issues. Neither of these are a good look and if I was a CA voter, I’d be looking for an alternative candidate to support.
And how many times have Vance or Stephen Miller gotten snippy with reporters during interviews? It's practically the Republican mantra to sneer at the media. But when a Democrat does it, oh no, she's disrespectful!

Trump walked out of multiple interviews. He got the job twice.
Porter feels like she’s being played for some reason, says she’s going to leave, and says “THANK YOU” before she walks out (read the transcript), and “OH NO, what a &itch, she’s tanked her run!!!!!”
I don’t like how she reacted, but I like this double standard about men and women even less.
You cannot compare the two. Kavanaugh was falsely accused of gang rape. That tends to upset people.
Katie Porter was asked a question by a reporter.
Yes, I can. Both of them were in professional settings acting unprofessional, unable to control themselves, and entitled. Both of them showed poor judgment and self-control.
I can’t believe how many republicans make excuses for Kavenaugh’s abusive adolescent temperament while interviewing for one of the most important jobs in the world. Inexcusable.
Robert Meuller was falsely accused of sexual assault too and he acted an adult. Because he’s not an abuser with anger issues.

I would expect anyone falsely accused of gang rape to passionately defend themselves.
I would also expect democrats not to pull 11th hour stunts to try to tank a nominee. My expectations are clearly too high when it comes to democrats.
As a lawyer, Kavenaugh knows that staying calm during questioning is more persuasive. But it’s one more way he showed he can’t control himself. People who understand human behavior and recognize red flags saw a man who exhibited all the behavior or someone capable of the crime. It made him look guilty, not “passionate”.
If your coworkers and family members act like this, I’m sorry. It’s not normal or healthy.
