Ignore the trolls OP.

Yeah, I guess it’s unlikely that anyone who actually went through this would be posting on dcum.

NP. What are you smoking? OP was friends with this woman, and she saved her child. This is like a Rorschach test - doesn’t reflect well on you, PP.

I’m sorry they didn’t reach out, but the fact remains that you saved a child’s life, and I imagine that trumps whatever their parent does or doesn’t do.

It takes at least 2 weeks to get a bronze statue made.

You should be proud! You did an amazing thing. Hopefully your friend can grow up and do the right thing by acknowledging what you did.

She’s fictional.

That’s horrible. I’m so sorry. If there’s any way we can support you, like a GoFundMe. I’d love to.

I injured myself and neighbor helped. I wanted to thank them but couldn’t think of anything good enough. I was also embarrassed. Then time passed and I felt worse about not thanking them promptly. Usually I’m not completely socially incompetent but it happens.

That woman is not and was not a friend. Just shun her and focus on your own physical and emotional healing. Karma is on your side but I am sorry you got so badly injured. .

Slow Sunday for fiction, eh?

Can a mutual friend say something to her? I would never speak to her again.

No broken hands is one of many ways we know this is a fake post.

Feels like a fake post. Wouldn’t this have made the news?
