Charlie Sheen is a classic addict. Unfortunately I have multiple substance abuse addicts in my close family and Sheen is exactly the same. So charismatic, can charm almost anyone, narcissistic, so convincing, but for those closest to him, who have a regular close relationship, he sucks the life right out of you and pulls you into their hurricane of chaos and not caring. He’s not a great guy.
I don’t get the relationship between being charismatic and being an addict.
Then you’re lucky to know many addicts. That’s a blessing.

I've known plenty of middle age men raised in conservative environments to, yes, explore this.
Charlie sheen was not raised in a conservative environment, and I don’t think he really even considers himself to be bisexual.

As for people saying he had to have had trauma in his past because of his sex with a sex worker and his drug use, I’m not so sure about that. I think he was just a kid with a ton of freedom at a young age. I grew up in a similar rich So Cal beach milieu in the same era. He and his brothers and the Lowes and the Penns remind me of kids I knew. Unsupervised, lots of freedom, money, small town beach town life, parents who could get you out of trouble if needed, lots of outdoor sports, parties, drugs and no responsibilities or expectations to do well in school. Acting like adults as teenagers. The parents were not closely supervising and had their own problems. Decadence. Kids doing whatever they wanted and it can become a way of life.
I’m an older generation Xer who did not grow up rich or in California, but saw much of the same thing when I was growing up. It was the era where a lot of teens had unrestricted freedom, and there was an overall sex, drugs, and rock and roll vibe among the youth. Many kids who didn’t experience trauma went down the same path.

I find this whole thing interesting that this isn’t getting more coverage.
I recall that he was accused of being a p*do predator by Corey Feldman who finally named him as the guy who terrorized and forced himself on Corey Haim on the set of the film “Lucas” (allegedly). Charlie was a pretty young guy on that set himself, and allegedly told Haim that it’s no big deal and everyone in Hwood does it so he should just get over it. So It seemed a crazy story, but also makes sense somehow, and I have always wondered if things were done to Charlie first.
I wonder if Charlie is finally own being bi-sexual so that he can claim consent and his deeds as a younger man won’t seem so shocking if it comes out that he did this to others?
