When I was younger and had a very limited clothing budget, I was happy to share discount shopping tips. Now my clothes are expensive, but from very small, niche designers. Constantly people ask and I just say from an online boutique... because you don't need to know I'm wearing a two thousand dollar dress.
Exception: when someone approaches me privately and asks if I could please share designer name.
