Done with genocide? Holding hostages is not a excuse for Israelis to be committing genocide. And the consensus among the vast majority of scholars of genocide, people who have spent decades actually studying the topic (including Israeli scholars!!!), is that Israel is committing genocde. No matter how much it pains you to admit it, Israelis are committing genocide against the Palestinian people.

Again, HAMAS may be committing genocide but Israel is not. Hamas does not care about it's people. They care less than Israel who continues to take steps to warn civilians. Hamas started a war it can easily end, but instead puts it's people in danger. FAFO-- return the hostages!

I find it odd that so many of the people who are so concerned about anti-Semitism aren't Jewish. I'm Jewish and the majority of the people I know are mildly upset but think this has all been a gigantic over-reaction and wish Trump et al would just stay out of it.

This includes a lot of prominent Harvard alums, some of whom have kids at Harvard so are very well aware of what is happening there.

Much as MAGA people wish the liberal know-it-alls would stop telling them how to live their lives and what is wrong with them (and I don't disagree with them on this), how about they stay out of our lives? Two wrongs don't make a right.

As a Jewish parent of a freshman at an Ivy (i.e. a place where there have been issues with exclusion/harassment of Jewish/Israeli students) my recommendation if this is a concern for you and your student reach out to UVA's Hillel and Chabad. They will answer questions, provide support
