College coaches are hitting the transfer portal.

Less risk and take chances on a college player who has the size and speed.

You will continue to see smaller freshman classes.

Everything looks about a week behind from previous years. My guess is we see a lot of commitments by the end of next week.

There was a comment in IL in one of the articles that recruiting will be a little off this year because September 1st was over Labor Day weekend. That meant everything was pushed back a week as recruits visit schools a week later.

But, I stated in an earlier thread. With the transfer portal, HS recruiting is going to be softer. The top kids will get calls but as you work your way down there will be less contact as coaches use the portal.
