You might consider trazodone for sleep if it is a big problem. It’s not a benzo and is much safer, according to my doc. Definitely NOT a Z drug though! My mom was on zolpidem and I swear it was as awful as a benzo. I just take trazodone if I absolutely can’t sleep and it doesn’t feel addictive at all. I also use it on my dog for fireworks on the 4th of July.

OP here. I had two nights where sleep was hard, restless right leg. This morning looking at my weekly pill container I see the "half" is skimpy. So I guess I started a reduction without noticing. Well. Onwards. I will do the "big quarter" chunks.

This is all so good to hear, OP! Yes, living benzo-free is the best revenge (I tapered off a couple years ago after 10+ years on them).
