I want to block texts from McPS central which are redundant, useless and not relevant but still get messages from the school and teachers. Is that not possible?
Yes, go into Parentsquare and adjust your notification settings.
You mean the parentsquare app MCPS never told us to download? Chris cram and his team are such a hot mess…
Nope, you don't even need to download an app. Just go to parentsquare.com and log in with the email address MCPS has for you. Then you can set your notification preferences.

If you don't have notification settings adjusted so this doesn't interrupt you, that's your L. Both ParentVue and your phone are adjustable. You can even find walkthroughs and how-tos on youtube.

I am not paying for an extra voice line just to avoid McPS. Giving them a burner email is a good idea
