Seriously. They are missing out on some amazing food and people not to mention museums and music.

There are a few restaurants that I really like in Ward 8. It's also the only Art All Night that we attend. We love the one in Ward 8. We live in Ward 4.

Ward 8 now includes Navy Yard and even parts of NW, so people should educate themselves on targeting Ward 8 as this crime ridden ward, when it’s quite diversified. I live in a ritzy part of NW, but make it a point to see all parts of my beautiful city and the neighborhoods. This is such a gorgeous city and we should all take time to see it. If you enjoy golf, tennis or jogging you can find that in Ward 8.

I go out to dinner in Ward 8 at least once/month. I’ve also attended the sunset parades at the barracks in the summer. I suspect the critics (including Tr*mf) don’t feel safe at the slightest whiff of weed.

That would take prosecution, with prosecutors who don't give out plea deals like candy. And evidence, from a functional, accredited forensic lab, which DC has been lacking. And judges who aren't dipshits. And citizens who give a shit showing up for jury duty. +1 anyone who has followed DC crime issues closely knows that our issue is on the prosecution end. If you don't understand this, look at old posts from the DC Crime Facts substack and twitter account.

If the administration could fix that part, great! But they are wasting tax payer dollars instead with a useless temporary show of force mostly placed in already safe areas of the city.

This. I have yet to see any of these troops in Wards 7 and 8 (where yes, I am regularly).
