Celebrities are loaded and have a public profile. That is not the normal population. They are not an app. In no way is that comparable. You filter for height on an app. No one is looking for a random stranger those heights.

I’ve even tried to set them up with a few of my friends who are decent guys with decent jobs and they reject them upon seeing their photos (these are very normal looking guys, average heights).

DP, but my wife's best friend was like that. And she was actually very pretty. Not hot, but definitely cute. She refused to date any guy under 6 feet and without a graduate school degree. In the end it took her until 34 to land a guy. She married a tall, unattractive, bald guy who was recently divorced and had a daughter. And he was living with his mom.

I still laugh. He is a carpet salesman with a degree from NOVA CC, probably makes 55K.

1. A salesperson of any kind likely makes more than 100k.
2. I would only date for marriage the same requirements. I am above average attractiveness. I married an attorney (never married, no kids)...attractive but I am more attractive. I outearn him now. There is nothing wrong with that standard (grad degree and 6ft) as long as you are attractive yourself. I also have a grad degree and am 5 ft 7.
