DH is 6’0 and was 150 lbs in HS.
Son is 6’3 and 235!
It’s the video games and cheetohs making your son a fattie.
Muscular 6’3” men can weigh 235 easily full of muscle mass, no fat.
Skinny 6’3” men can weigh 200 lbs. no muscle, no fat.

Son is 5’8 145 (almost 18, hit puberty early and hasn’t grown for years)
I am 5’4 so son got my side but we did expect him to be taller.
Your DH isn't 6' 4" He likely isn't even the 6' 3" and some change he claims he's probably just missing 6 ft so many men are delusional about their height and lie about especially to women who are under 5'6" and can't tell.
Lol, what?? Yes, he is almost 6’4. Goofy tall, is how I have always (lovingly) described him. Sons often do not reach their father’s height unless the mom is also very tall.
I'm not sure that's true . . . it certainly isn't for my DS.
Of course it’s true, have you ever taken a basic biology course? Genes (including height) come from both sides. If dad is super tall but mom is average height or shorter, son is very unlikely to reach dad’s height. Very obvious.

Dad: 5’8” 165
son: 6’1” 155
My side of the family is where the height came from. I’m 5’7” and my dad and brother are both over 6’ while my husband is the tallest in his immediate family.
