Afterwards, Diamond and his crew were attacked by Israeli settlers and their car window was smashed.
These settlers are so bold, they now attack American reporters from CNN.

So what? I'm fine with supporting the only regional democracy against terrorists for whom peace is anathema. We should probably be sending more aid, not less.

Call me naive but how does this really affect the US?
How does stopping terrorists benefit the U.S.? Have you never heard of 9/11? Khobar Towers? Richard Reid? Leon Klinghoffer? The 1983 bombing in Beirut which killed 241 U.S. Marines? Pan Am Flight 103? Jihadist global ambitions don't stop at Israel's borders. Better to defeat them outside our borders than keep dealing with them within.

It’s interesting that you named six events, of which only one actually incurred “within”.
Nevertheless, the recipe for unequivocally neutralizing and rehabilitating any Jihadist hostilities toward the U.S. that may exist is to discontinue funding Israeli’s war crimes, discontinue running interference for Israel in the U.N. and in international criminal courts, and to let the universe deal with Zionism’s 80+ years of state-sponsored terrorism.
Sure, that will end Islamic terrorist ambitions to spread over the entire globe. Not.
