If you've traveled to Spanish-speaking countries or know people from a range of Latin countries, you will soon discover that many display anti-indigenous racism, anti-Black racism, and colorism (the favoring of lighter-skinned individuals over darker-skinned ones). And there is strong classism as well. They also discriminate based on the country someone is from and even the region within the same country. And since they are not always as PC as Americans, you will hear shocking things said casually by one Hispanic about another one (like calling someone a "cholo.") I don't believe for a moment that Hispanic border patrol and ICE are nicer to other Hispanics than a redneck White would be.
The article talks about people being members of the same communities.
They lump Hispanics as one monolithic community.

I am a US born Hispanic citizen in my 40s. Live here all my life. My parents had green cards when I was born. These claims to go after criminals are nonsense. They are blaming us for the country's problems when in fact if the Hispanic population in the US was a country, we would be the 5th wealthiest in the world. They are dehumanizing all of us. They are referring to us as alligator food. This reminds me of the Hutus calling the Tutsis roaches just before the genocide in Rwanda. They are sowing so much hate and I see no end to this.

OP here, I assure I am no troll and the distressing amount of hispanics who voted for him does not negate the fear many hispanics have now that he is implementing Project 2025.
Also, it wasn’t just hispanics that resulted in the win. It was also 1/3 of democrats that didn’t show up yo vote at all.
Good try at attempting to boomerang the blame on Hispanics. However, only showed your own true colors.

The funding the new legislation established for immigration - ICE officers, detention facilities and a wall creates a behemoth that will be used. And there does not seem to be much oversight built into this legislation.
