THEY are the ones who fund the law Enforcement in legislation (the GOP opposes)
THEY are the ones who fight for workers rights, safe working conditions, minimum wages, etc (the GOP opposes)
THEY are the ones who fight for civil rights. (GOP opposes)

That you couch these things as identity politics and soft on crime is just showing your true perspective.

Oh and the GOP is responsible for the majority of the national debt, not the Dems.
