As another person with fine straight hair. I think it’s fine for curly haired people. For fine, straight haired people like me, it’s not acceptable. Your hair will look the same wet or dry.

I think wet hair is fine on straight hair too. Why spend so much time blow drying needlessly if you already have straight hair?

I put my fine straight hair up in a clip. It's so humid out most of the summer that blowdrying is pointless.

What is wrong with looks #2 and #3? In SATC, Miranda often wore her hair in a similar style to look #2. And #3 is perfectly appropriate for any setting.

I'm the second in command in my organization. I arrived this morning with wet (damp) hair as I have virtually every morning of my 30+ year career. I have curly hair that I air dry. Sorry.

This is only appropriate if your job is a hooker and showered at a client’s house.

Right? I mean I would probably notice if someone’s hair was just soaking wet and water was like dripping down their back and all over clothes but I genuinely don’t think I would even notice damp hair.

Esp with curly hair, aren’t there a lot of products that define the curls but the hair looks somewhat wet/damp after use?

Who cares?! That is a crazy thing to be bothered about. If I see somebody with wet hair, I notice it and move along with my day because it does not impact me.

Exactly. What kind of job do you think that poster of the photos has?!!

Executive team member here with long curly hair who arrives at the office every day with wet hair. I wasn't hired for my looks, I was hired to do a job - no one cares I'd my hair isn't 100% dry when I arrive

Wet hair in the office is unprofessional. If you cannot be bothered to care for your hair, get a short cut that will dry fast.

My short curly hair is very thick and takes over an hour to dry. Just arrived at work with wet hair.

I’m surprised people take issue with this. But I probably shouldn’t be, this is dcum after all.

I have curly hair that I air-dry. You can either get my morning hair styled and wet (let's be honest, we're all talking about damp) or dry and in a messy bun. Those are your two choices.
