Neither of us were virgins but my prior experience was pretty limited and not very satisfactory. I was a virgin until I was 22 and in grad school. I wasn’t expecting to have sex but things got a little out of hand and before I knew it I was no longer a virgin. There were only two other guys before my now husband and both guys were “nice companions” but the sex was never very good most likely because of my not being fully committed. Sorry boys! I knew my now husband for two years before we got together and I had a major crush on him. When we finally got together I finally realized what great sex was all about. I can’t imagine waiting until marriage to have sex…..what if it’s disappointing a year in?

Also amazed there are men who can go 5+ rounds, all night long.
How are the new men different from the old men, in bed and outside of bed?

No, and I was glad of that. I had been in a long-term relationship where we were compatible I did not like the sex between us and in another one where it was not good emotionally but the sex was good. I knew that it was necessary to have both and I found that in my husband. We've been married 33 years and sometimes sex is what's gotten us through hard times.

DH was a virgin when we married, but I had been with 8 men before him.
Although the first few times were unsatisfactory and often hilarious (he is 99% sure what goes where ), I had been able to shape our bedroom activities exactly to my liking, and very happy with the results.

You (or they) must be young. Or taking something.
I’m 39, most of the men I’ve slept with since my divorce are 35-42. So not super young but I like men who are in shape, so all were very healthy, six packs, ate well, etc.
Even when my xH was young he had trouble getting it up, which I think was more due to his unhealthy lifestyle than age.

Did you get your data from the church of LDS?
20 years ago, approximately 3-4% of Americans were virgins when they married. I found this number on a few academic articles from 20 years ago.
I'd guess that number has only gone down - because while more young americans are virgins than ever before, it's likely because of how de-socialized they are, and specifically how men are basement dwelling nerds who no women want to marry - so we have a lot less marriages too. In other words, the numbers of nerdy virgin types are growing, but so are the numbers of non-marrieds, and they are likely the same pool of people. No woman needs to settle and marry a nerdy virgin. So those who marry are probably more social and normal, and less likely to be virgins, than even 20 years ago. This paragraph is just my hypothesis. But the data on 3% 20 years ago is widely out there.

Yes, I miss the old days when I couldn't get a credit card without my husband's signature. Or a home loan. Not get fired for being pregnant, or take bc--without my husband's permission. And my boss could stick his hand up my skirt and I didn't get to complain. The good old days when women were cherished.
