Yep. Women like all sorts of men. However, they like men with personalities who are kind to them. Instead of being a genuinely good person, these red pill tate nonsensers instead blame their lack of dating success on women - who they say only want those things (6/6/6). But that's not what women are saying. Women are dating shorter men, less rich men, less fit men all the time. Its men perpetuating this to other men and its keeping you single and mad, which is keeping them in business. It's quite transparent if you actually look at it.
Nailed it. I coupled up with a man who is a mere inch taller than me (well short of 6'), and makes a fraction of the money I make. A man who treats me well, makes me laugh, makes me think, and shoulders more of the household work. He gets called a beta by the one guy who incessantly sock puppets these threads.
That guy and his ilk love to latch on to that one time someone they knew encountered a gold digger, or got cheated on, or got turned down by a woman for any reason, or whatever other undesirable behavior, and apply it to all women everywhere. They also don't seem as mentally resilient, though. They've gone too far the other way in terms of "mental health awareness". The older generation internalized too much, which is not good, but this younger generation can't seem to internalize anything and deal with stresses; they need mental health days just because their boss yelled at them. There needs to be a happy medium.

My mother was like this with my brother. She always expected me, who is younger than my brother, to take care of him. She made him lazy, which for most women, is an unattractive quality. I told her that he is capable of taking care of himself -- he is not disabled and generally smart. But, he was lazy, and she perpetuated that laziness with how she coddled him.
The funny thing is when he went into the military, they whipped him, literally, into shape. He was not lazy. Then he left the military and went back to his lazy self.
Some people just need that regimented lifestyle because they don't have that internal motivation.

The sucky thing about living and dating in 2025 vs 1975 is there are way more fat people now, so a very average thin woman in 1975 is considered above average in 2025 just from not being fat. Women have become less attractive so now there’s increased competition for the good ones.

The DEI sickos never cared about men, and to a certain extent white people. They spent decades justifiying discrimination, or even flat out denying that anyone was being discriminating against. Just providing more opportunities is how they framed the policy. These people never had any integrity, so their current stance shouldn't be a surprise.

The problem is that the "male equivalent" who is "nice to them and runs a tight ship around the house" is so rare that it's practically non-existent. The "around the house" part, in particular, is nearly impossible to find. A nice guy making 50k a year rarely takes on the house duties to the same extent that nice waitress will. That's the problem with aiming down for women. Other than a good income, men rarely provide enough value around the house. Staying single is often better.
There are plenty of men that could and would do it but women are not attracted to that at all. They would quickly lose respect for him and have an affair with the hard working, passionate about his job, project leader at work.

I agree. High earning men don’t need and often don’t want their wife to work. We care more about is she going to be a good mother, do our personalities match, etc. My wife made 1/30th of my income when we met, I didn’t remotely care. It’s only the men who don’t earn enough to support a family on their own who want a girlboss wife.
You do realize that the median income in the US is only $40k, right? Two people earning the median income usually expect both to work...and I don't think the man is looking for a "girlboss wife".
Now, let's go to $100k. Well, only 18% of all Americans earn $100k. I don't think anybody anywhere necessarily thinks that's high-earning.
So, is high-earning $500k? Well, only 0.79% of all jobs pay $500k+.
However, most high-earning professional men still care about a wife having a college degree and much more than if your wife will be a "good mother" and do the personalities match...though good mother can mean a million different things (and it usually means a woman who will be Type A in terms of running the household and raising the kids).

The issue is not ridiculously high standards or AI and filters. People have literally become fatter. 70% of adults are now overweight or obese.
