Unlike many states, California enforces minimum wage laws regardless of Federal immigration status.

I mean, this thread was started when Trump made the important point over the weekend that we are losing essential employees, people who've been here 20 years, aren't criminals and he suggested reining in immigration raids.

But it looks like Stephen Miller has overridden Trump. What gives?
