It beggars the imagination that the former head of the FBI would claim not to know the very common usage of "86." He has also yet to explain what the message "8647" meant otherwise without the common meaning of "86."
So, he deliberately posted a death threat against POTUS, knowing how serious that is especially from someone with his platform, and then lied about it. I hope he suffers serious consequences if only for being such an arrogant, dishonest, attention-whoring coward.
The common meaning is to throw out or scrap. So he’s saying Trump should be thrown out. Obviously protected speech. But you’re not allowed to say that kind of stuff anymore.
You're here carrying Comey's jockstrap with ridiculous excuses he didn't make for himself. You really think he would have deleted his post and laid low if he hadn't meant exactly what he was called out for?
The regime is now threatening to go after him. Of course he’s trying to avoid that. Their attacks on criticism are working.

Honestly, I don't care. Trump tried to kidnap or kill his VP and had his followers chanting "lock her up" about HRC. If someone wants to write what they want to write--and with seashells no less--why do I care?
He is old and nearly dead anyway.

Seems to me that 86ing someone means to “get rid of them” but that is most likely to mean “impeach him”.
MAGA are such snowflakes.
What are you? His spokesman?
Most likely?
I don’t like Comey. He got us here with his stupid Hillary investigation and announcement. He screwed over our whole country with his misogyny and double standards. But this 86 drama is stupid too and peak hypocrisy from MAGA.
But it’s what comey craves. He’s an attention whore.

This was the topic last night at the soccer field and so many people didn't understand what it meant. A few moms had their phone dial pads open and were trying to figure out what 8647 spelled out using the letters under each number. They thought it was a code because one mom said she texts her son 5683 8 to mean LOVE U. Another group thought 86 was a position like 69 and were trying to figure that out.
I had to explain 86 meant nix something. It was restaurant lingo, or at least that's where I learned it as a teen. Like large pie with everything, 86 mushrooms.
I also learned that they didn't know that "file 13" means garbage.
Maybe it's a generational thing. I'm 43, an elder Millennial/borderline Gen X. Most of these parents were late 20s to mid-30s, so younger Millennials.
