Maybe revisit histories of the British as the original colonizers, who created an artificial border between India and Pakistan, and broke families and friendships a part. The partition is classic colonization.

The kids enjoyed the day off of school yesterday but today there were explosions from drones above the city. Feels like things are spiraling.
Hope it all gets resolved quickly and peacefully.

So sad that they have suffered so much and been used as pawns by both sides.
What do the Kashmiri people desire? Do they wish to continue to be occupied by India in one the most militarized regions in the entire world?
There is one soldier for six Kashmiris, totaling 100,000 soldiers. And Modi has revoked Kashmir's constitutional autonomy.
Kashmir is largely a mix of Muslims and Hindus who both want the others gone.
Lie! Kashmir is 97.6 percent Muslim and 2.45 percent Hindu. Kashmiri Hindus who were the original residents were ethnically cleansed with dire threats to Convert, Leave or Die ( Raliv, Galiv ya Chaliv blared from mosques), all within the last 30-40 years. I personally know many of these families who had to abandon their houses, businesses and orchards overnight and flee with nothing but clothes in their backs. Many ancient Hindu temples(Shakti peethas) still exist in Kashmir.
Moron!
Kashmir region is 85% Muslim, and India-administered Kashmir, where the separatist fighting is, is 75% Muslim.

Bun Laden was openly living there, for crying out loud.
Not sure I'd describe his living conditions as open during his time there
He was living in a heavily fortified, custom built complex half a mile away from Pakistan's military academy. And he was living there with multiple wives, kids, and grandkids, as well as other associates. Apparently they were buying the best brands, fancy soaps and shampoos, and soda, among other things. It doesn't seem like a particularly closely guarded secret to me.

Pakistan admits it was just doing the dirty work of the US government for the past 3 decades. No surprise given the US and it's long history of outsourcing terrorism
