Seriously. I don’t see all these beautiful moms at school pick-up, sports, or kids parties. Must be hiding in their basements depriving all of us of their beauty.

I'd say I'm a 6-7 that has always put a lot of effort into my appearance and figure. I was able to turn heads until 45, it has gone down swiftly from there. I'm in my early 50s, and I only get the characters--and even they are extremely infrequent. I don't really miss the male attention though. I have a couple of friends who have always been 9-10s. Just gorgeous women (which is hard to find here in DC). They have taken getting older much harder. I think when you are that good looking you are used to getting a lot of attention, and it is hard to get old. OP, I'm sure you are still gorgeous. Don't be so hard on yourself!

I wonder what people mean when they say they turn heads or get attention. What does that look like?

At 48, I'm still turning heads. At 40, I was turning just about every head. I was hot!!! I put a lot of work into exercising and having fun. I don't wear any makeup.

I've never been into turning heads. In fact it makes me uncomfortable. I don't mind getting older. My mom always thought of herself as the prettiest and it was always off-putting -- objectively there were many better looking women around. It has always baffled me when short, fat, unathletic women think of themselves as turning heads because they think they're pretty.

Eh, men don't care if you are short or unathletic. As long as you are slim, a pretty face, and nice hair you are fine being short and unathletic.

Ozempic or wepbound brought it back, the head turning.

I stopped turning heads when i let myself go while being a mom, from 32-52.

At 52 i started taking care, got very fit. I am pretty so that came back (face slims).

Now at 55 i get so much attention from guys (of all ages) and even (most) women treat me so nicely. Only had a few glares from women, who knew me prior.

11 and around 45. Still occasionally turn some heads at 50, but mostly when I’m driving.
