Do you also believe God gave us child molesters and serial killers? God is good but there are some awful things on His earth. Roundup is one of those awful things, and people that willingly destroy His creation (the stream, waterways, birds, pollinators and fellow humans that are killed by this poison) solely for their vanity should think deeply on their actions and seek His forgiveness.

My neighbor sprayed the property line including a little bit into my lawn. Now I have a large dead patch of grass in my front lawn thanks to their quest to have an all grass lawn. They are constantly spraying Roundup in their yard. Besides the patch of dead grass I have on my lawn, they have several brown patches too because they wanted to get rid of “weeds”. I just shake my head. I’ll enjoy my clovers and flowers and bees.

I'm probably much older than you and I know this is useless anecdata but every single person I know who was chemical crazy with their lawn care had a child who developed cancer of some type before they hit their 20s.


One study showed a 40% increase in the rate of lymphoma.

The idea that killing pollinators and giving yourself cancer over some minor harmless weeds.

I don’t spray. I dig them up and try to get the roots. I do the property line but that’s it.

It’s not really safe to just eat them from your lawn. Maybe a dog peed on it or maybe someone accidentally dumped something on them. I would specifically grow it in a garden.

There is little uglier than a macmansion with nothing but a few foundation plants and a lawn that looks like it's been vacuumed. Ugly.

I enjoy throwing trash all over your front lawn should I be allowed to do that. You weeds seeds are blowing all over your neighbors house who now have to pay hundreds to TruGreen to get rid of.

If you can keep you weed seeds on your side most would not care. But you cant.


No one is forcing you to pay hundreds to a lawn company. You are just nuts.

I used to be like you and in my first house kept a perfect lawn. It takes a mountain of chemicals to be able to stay on top of the weeds to keep a perfect putting green lawn. Those chemicals are starting to be banned everywhere because they are toxic to everything. They've caused massive reductions in reptiles, insects, and birds. It's sad that all you care about is your perfect looking lawn. They are wastelands as far as supporting wildlife.

Dandelion greens are edible, do you know if they are eating them?

Stay on your own side of the property and leave everyone else alone. Unless you want me to blow dandelion seeds over there.
