Which age group?
Every ECNL club in this area will be above 18 players at U15 and above. Wouldn't surprise me if the number is 18 at U13/14 also.
Is mls next different?? Do they roster fewer kids? Asking for my U14 BOY who is choosing between ECNL and MLSN.
It depends on everything and you should ask the coach. ECNL cap is 30. Just because you can only roster 18 for a game doesn't mean that you can't have more players.

Did they pick up any Loudoun second team players or are they all going to Loudoun’s GA team (like Loudoun’s first team players who are all going to NVA)? I’m wondering where they will sit relative to NVA and SYC, which have very good 2013 squads, versus Loudoun and MYS, which seem likely to be made up mostly or second and third team players (given NVA and Union paths for their first team players) plus additions from outside the club.
This is a flat out lie; but great try! That age group flip flops 2013 kids for second team rev not top team.

Are you sure about that? 30+ roster spots at the ECNL level will now be the norm
Not unless ECNL nationally changes the rules for roster size. They are currently capped at 28.
