It seems like not many clubs want NM "on their side" - ask GFR or FVU or Mclean how that worked out for them.

Who are you going to ask at GFR? The 3 soccer dads who are now running it?

Ok, so your preference is to discount GFR. Fair enough. How about FVU or Mclean or Herndon? Why don't they want to work with NM? Or should we discount those, too?

He left Herndon. McLean already had a TD so why would they work with someone that is a TD at another club when they are trying to not partner with anyone. Did FVU not want NM or did they not want GFR because of history with the Welsh’s and BRYC?

Same with Union. Same with McLean. Same with all the parents.

Only ncsl games this morning. ML and NM don’t even coach those teams and they were the only ones let go. So either you’re making this up or you’re just guessing.

Not true. The contract with all the coaches who came with NM from dmvfc were terminated. Parents got an email telling them this but also were told they had coverage in place which they did not.

2014 girls, I believe - maybe it was 2015.

that's crazy. where are they going to find coaches for the rest of the spring season

I don’t believe any of the new “directors” have any experience running a soccer club so this is probably a question they’re asking themselves too right now

I’m not familiar with FVU. But I wouldn’t use Herndon as an example of a great youth soccer program. They’re an even bigger mess than GFR - although that is almost debatable now.

Is Herndon not good for the boys side anymore? We had heard good things about it a couple of years ago. Has it changed since then?

At least that was done in January and they had time to find coaches for the teams before spring season. This time the coaches were fired a day and a half before the first game.

GFR has been playing games for weeks. Our team has had games since first weekend of March.

Most of their travel teams are NCSL and today is the first weekend of NCSL league games.
