I know health care providers differ, but it sounds like OP is exaggerating. I make an appointment with my primary care physician, and tell them what my health issue is, if it's not an annual exam. It may be that they don't have a same-day sick appointment for me, but it's not like most doctors are telling people to stay home if they're "sick." It just may be that they can't see you right away or have deemed whatever your symptoms being reported as unworthy of an in-office appointment and told you to wait a few days or go to an urgent care if you really want to be seen ASAP.

If its covid or the flu, its a simple test at home. If you don't have health issues, its obnoxious to infect the doctors office putting those of us with health issues at risk.

If a doctor only want to see healthy patients, he/she is in the wrong business and I would drop them as my doctor.

It's literally their job.

If you have had symptoms for a while it is a good idea to get seen by someone. I am someone who tries to power through things but sometimes you really need an inhaler or steroids. I'd much rather see my PCP who knows my medical history.

If you have meningitis or sepsis your family medicine doctor isn’t going to be able to help you either. Do you think they do lumbar punctures in the exam room?

Presumably a PCP is better trained to pick up when there is a serious problem and get the patient to the ER for a lumbar puncture - more so than some amateur relying on tests from the interwebs to rule out a couple of things

My pcp ignores everything and says I’m fine. The current thinking means I lost years of help thanks to her and the other pcps I’ve seen.

If they're all saying your fine maybe it's health anxiety that needs to be treated. Are you a hypochondriac? Maybe they're all trying to calm all your health fears.
