agree...but still concerned about why there is not more noise. We need more Larson yelling followed by action.

Me too. I almost feel like the complete lack of inaction is more than meets the eye. We know the "president" behaves like a mafia boss-whats going on behind the scenes. We also know he's owned by Russia. I trust nothing at this point but goodness knows we need a hero. and we needed it yesterday.

How much does the federal government give?
Not the issue. They are punishing DC children for no reason at all. Keeping them from receiving our city's own tax dollars.
That's just it, are they your city's own tax dollars?
Is the federal government providing a million dollars, a billion dollars, a trillion dollars, makes quite a bit of difference.

The government will never shut down. Putin has provided Russians with bunkers. Except for the COG fraternity/sorority, we peon Americans don't even have foxholes.
This was all true yesterday when Schumer announced that the Dems would not support the CR. It makes me sick to think about it but something happened in the ensuing 24 hours. This is very bad.
Perhaps he read my post here that Trump wants Schumer to shut things down.

This establishment creature is behaving as if everything is normal as Trump craps on our allies, cozies up to authoritarian criminals, ignores ethics laws and dismantles federal agencies. And now this vote to support the Republican budget which has no clear logic.
Dump Chuck and find a minority leader for the Democrats who can lead the party into an effective resistance to the chaos and stupidity of the Trump administration.
Resistance is futile. What we need are better policies and candidates for the future.
Nope. We also need people who can elaborate and REPRESENT now. As well as in the future.
It’s done. Democrats are the problem. We have no representation in this government or this country. I am so upset but I know there is no hope.
Republicans are creating this. Democrats resisting or not is not the central problem.
