Mine is Conservative (Adas Israel) but, like I said, plenty of space for a very wide range of opinions. I strongly suspect that's the case at most Reform congregations in D.C., too. Less so Orthodox ones.

Not familiar with attitudes on Israel at suburban congregations these days, so I probably should have qualified my earlier comment.

This would only happen in a reform congregation and maybe a few Conservative ones ie criticizing Israel.

Orthodox (most), Chabad, Hassidic, Lubavitch are Trumpers. They claim to be Jews they are not given they don't remember Never Forget. I will never forgive them.

LOL. He is Israel's longest serving Prime Minister and has functionally been in power since 2009. There is an entire generation (including kids currently in university) who literally have no memory of an Israel lot led by Netanyahu. If you want to know why so many youth, including Jewish American youth, are protesting Israel it is because this corrupt jacka** has been returned to power again and again, only to take the same aggressive stances, support terrorist settlers, and appoint blood-thirsty genocidal lunatics to senior cabinet posts.

The Jewish American experience no longer defines itself through Israel, at least for those 30 and under, and he's a huge part of the reason why.

Every single one of childhood friends, many of whom I've known since elementary school. Cannor see the larger picture- at all. These aren't unintelligent people,either. Some actually went over to the Republican side because of this and they think campus protests were paid by outside actors.
