I am just saying that China is really good at overseeing science.
China is also great at overseeing and guiding art. In the early 2000s in China, I was relaxing in my room watching tv. An entire scene (Meg Ryan at a restaurant with Billy Crystal) was muted on my television screen. You can only do that with some government creativity and limiting options
Science need to be carefully monitored. The scientists are to blame. Ballet is super shady too. Those fitted clothes lead to the banned word concepts above.

Don’t throw anything, but I do think the research of say, the Harvard President… was stupid. Those topics! I was surprised that social science research allowed her to rise to such venerated position. They only canceled research using transgenic mice if it was investigating the effects of transgender hormones. Other research using transgenic mice is not being stopped (cancer, asthma, etc). The first article talks specifically about studies looking at the effects of gender transitions using transgender mice.
They’ve just wiped out the funding for the medical research, not banned it.
