We had a big dog and 2 cats. We now only have one cat. It feels lonely.

To teach my kids about love and responsibility and also about death. Death of a pet is often the first loss they’ll experience

Point is for humans to socialize with other humans who also have dogs.

When working in office, you would get the regulars who would come down from a different floor to use the bathrooms on your floor which were located across fom your office. You knew when Glen came to that floor, it was almost lunch time. It's the same working from home having a neighbor's dog bark consistenty for 2 minutes at the same mid day time to what sounds like a demanding bark to his owner to take him on a walk.

Simple solution. Don't give your dog meat, I don't. My dog is well taken care of my kids are more.

They are loyal, and honest, and keep your secrets. They don't play headgames or jerk you around (except sometimes, when they see a squirrel, but they're working on it!). They don't mind waking up in the night because you had a bad dream, or need to go to the bathroom (again).

They're pure. Their love is pure. Their affection is pure. You can give them treats to say thank you, but even if you don't, they're still going to love you. They want you to be happy (even if they sometimes have weird ways of trying to facilitate this).

Dogs are the best friends.

They are adorable and funny and cuddly and insanely happy when you get home. And they don't protest if you post them on social media 😂

But all dogs are not good for security are they?
