This. I totally agree with you. And you are not exaggerating when you say there are a handful of highly educated and accomplished ivy league educated MAGAs. And I think this what makes the MAGA movement so successful. It's powered by well accomplished and wealthy folks who have the money, intellect, drive and know how to help this movement.

Unfortunately capitalism drives people to be greedy. We are very greedy. And sadly some of us are so driven by greed that we lose our sense of purpose and compassion.

Deep inside Democrats know this is one of the challenge they are facing. The folks who should know better are the ones driving the train. It makes the Democrats seem powerless but it's more complicated than that.

So honestly if we are already at 1 death, with only about 200 measles cases? Either this is a worse strain of measles... or medical care in Texas isn't so great.

So yeah, 2019 we had a large number of cases, mostly in NYC, among the Orthodox Jewish population. There were around 600-700 cases and no deaths.

This kid is not too young to vax but too young to make the decision. The last person to die was an immune suppressed young woman who likely contracted measles in a clinic. These adults choices are needlessly killing others.

Well, I do feel sorry for the innocent child. But my point is that this isn't about "them getting what they deserve," it is about the totally innocent outsiders (like the last woman to die of measles in this country) who gets it from the anti-vaxxer families.
