That looks like his part of his foot has been amputated. Maybe he does have diabetes.

Trump will never directly endorse a successor. Not Vance, not anyone else. There will be primaries in 2028 and Vance may not even come out as the winner.

I don’t have a sense of Thiel, but one advantage of having Vance instead of Trump is that Vance is far less likely to be idolized. Whatever it is that people are attracted to in Trump — Vance ain’t got it. This. Vance has no charisma. On his own, I don't think he can sell the lies in the same way. I cant see anyone buying gold sneakers from him either. He might corner a few grannies that think he's cute, but I think he's too smarmy to go to Trump's level.
