I once had a friend who moved there and she said she was having trouble socially- because even though her kids went to St Bernadette school, and they all went to St Bernadette church, they didn’t belong to (Franklin Knoll?) the local pool that everyone belongs to. Like- it’s cliquey and you have to do all three to really fit in, I guess.
Thousands of people live in Woodmoor and they hardly all think alike. The generalizing on this thread is a bit much. It sounds like your friend had more of an issue with people who go to that church than people who live in a section of town a mile across. Pool membership? Really?
Hate the teenagers? What a ridiculous thing to say.

People who think like this beyond high school have something seriously wrong with them. They refuse to acknowledge they are the reason they can’t easily make friends or join new groups. Going to St Bernadette’s likely prevented your friend from forming bonds in the neighborhood. That’s a tiny school with around 300 students and I’d guess they don’t all live in woodmoor. She limited herself by doing that. Of course she isn’t being invited to to hang out in the summer by people who belong to the pool because they know she doesn’t go there. Sounds like she is unwilling to reach out and connect and expects everyone to just include her and change their plans to do it.
