One can have valid concerns about USAID, and also think President Musk's approach is extremely troubling and will cause long term damage to US interests.

I am hopeful for my friends at USAID as they are very capable people and I'm sure they will land on their feet. The problem is the best people won't go back.

Democratic congresspeople need to go over there right now and tour the agency. They allocate money to keep the agency funded.
