I don’t know anyone that does this and it seems like it’s probably embarrassing so I keep this hidden. Only my husband knows

Ma’am, you are a weirdo.
This is what I had with dinner every night as a kid but now I can’t drink milk like that! I’ve gotten more lactose intolerant-ish as I’ve gotten older. My kids do though.

I can eat them in stews after they have been cooked, apart from peppers, not sure why but peppers I can't eat without huge issues. Such as throwing up.
That’s called an allergy.
Reminds me of my friend who once said something like "I love bananas, but I hate how much they make your mouth burn after eating them."![]()
I was like "girl, you're allergic!" She got an allergy test and sure enough, she's allergic to bananas and also related foods like avocado and melon. She lived her whole life thinking those foods just caused a burning mouth after eating.

I get a prickly feeling in my tongue when I eat pineapple or kiwi. Pretty sure i was an adult before someone suggested to me that it’s an allergy. It really hadn’t occurred to me prior to that. My parents and siblings all have the same thing so I guess it didn’t seem unusual.
This happens when I eat pineapple but I thought it was an acid thing. I also get if I have too much acid in one day. Tomatoes and vinegar and pineapple…

What recipe do you use?

I had to wean myself off my beloved tuna fish sandwiches of my youth, when I learned that there was too much heavy metal contamination in large fish. I ate so many!
I occasionally make an ersatz with canned salmon... but it's not the same.
Late at night, I sometimes get a kimchi/chips craving, which I eat with chopsticks (I'm Asian). I love the flavor of kimchi paired with the crispy chips texture. But I'm careful not to eat too much of it - too salty.
I also love tuna and would eat it every day if it weren't for the whole mercury problem. I especially love a really ripe giant summer jersey tomato stuffed with tuna salad.
I love tuna salad too. I'm down to once a month. I make them for a women's shelter, but really I make them for me. So good.
Adding to the chorus of love for tuna salad.
I love it, but I’m also very picky about it. I won’t eat just anyone’s. I haven’t eaten a restaurant tuna sandwich in over a decade.

I prefer all of my food to be mixed. Casseroles are my obvious favorite, but even on a normal dinner plate I will put a little bit of everything on my fork and eat it at once. I hate eating just one type of food at a time.

this one is the only interesting response here. I'm going to have to give it a try.
