Vegas has MAGA at -1000000 in a civil war against the Libs.

The maga movement has only been gaining more traction. Their ability to deflect and make excuses is astonishing. I think maybe we need this period of letting the GOP control it all. Starting tomorrow, there is nobody to blame, nobody to deflect to. We are going to hit rock bottom, and I think that’s the only hope we have that enough people will face the reality of where the GOP priorities truly lie.

This.
The next four years will be objectively terrible. But hopefully the boil of MAGA will explode and the poison will drain out.

The last four years were objectively terrible with the massive inflation and open border. Trump returning to office gives many of us hope that the country can again be set on the right track.

So... how about we focus on finding a real presidential nominee that will squash anything MAGA has to offer and we'll together put the disastrous Trump/Biden years behind us? Do you want to be part of the solution or part of the whiny partisan crowd?

Every day is drama with Trump, but when it comes to legislation, there's not much there. And given the make-up of the House, Republicans can't pass anything substantial without Democratic votes. It'll be a noisy four years, but I don't expect much, particularly after Democrats take the House back in two years.

This. Trump did not achieve anything other than tax cuts and blew up our deficit. Tax cuts that my family personally is benefiting from but millions aren’t. He isn’t going to achieve anything in the next 4 years. He’s just going to sit in the Oval office and get his ego stroked by his yes men.

If a normal Republican was elected like Mitt Tomeny, Liz Cheney, George Bush, etc. I could deal with it. Trump though is beyond the pale and is scary since he thinks he know everything and does not think things through or listens to experts. Just read about the long list of Republicans who worked with him who reported he is unfit for office.

None of those RINOs represent Republican voters.

Reconciliation can be passed without any Democrat votes.

Yes, there will be a crisis and he will choke again because he always has. He is a weak lame duck president with an axe to grind this time. He will be to fixated to get us out of a crisis.

Very true now let's not do what we did after Trump's 1st term and elect another unfit person to replace him. Let's get serious in 2028 and demand a legitimately presidential candidate.

It’s sad you think Donald Trump was responsible for Covid. I hope you receive treatment for your derangement syndrome, but it’s probably terminal.

How does one refute hyperbolic knee jerk nonsense? Soft Americans have no concept of oppression or the fear actual dictatorships generate. This is the United States of America. We have three branches of government. The president isn’t that powerful. Seek professional help.

When you have two of the branches abdicating their duties; it doesn’t work well.

Link to a source that confirms the Legislative Branch and Judicial Branch are abdicating their duties in furtherance of the establishment of a dictatorship?

Bush and Romney agreed with Democrats on who our allies are and who are our enemies (hint it wasn’t liberals). Trump has designated the enemy as your fellow Americans. MAGA bought Trump’s lie hook, line, and sinker. Sad.

No. HRC labeled half of America as "deploreable." Biden gave a speech claiming MAGA as the enemy. Later, he called Trump supporters "garbage."

Trump has called Democrats pretty horrible things as well. He is a divider, not a uniter

Weird. I was under the impression that it came from China and was a global pandemic.

Trump mismanaged the crisis, so yes it’s like he gave everyone Covid here.
