Doesn’t sound like it. I’m assuming on time.

Citation lady tries but we’ve taken to having the plat handy to say “we have done all of,our property, that property either belongs to the townhouse community around the corner, the county, or the state.” If you’re so concerned in your apartment complex, get a shovel and shovel the county streets yourself. I drive my kid to,school when it’s not safe.

Wow, projecting much? I’m the person who said I reported my neighbors and we are in a single-family home – these people have plenty of money to either hire a kid or local service to shovel for them.

Wow. Someone is very bored. Clearly they can get out of their house since they've been all over Arlington. How about they pick up a shovel and help? Of course not, let's just report them. I'm sure that will get it resolved.

How do you see the reports/requests made?

Click on this map then you’ll see number, zoom in and click on the red dot snowflake things and you’ll see the address of the property and what the person who reported it said

sure i'm going to walk all over the neighborhood and personally shovel all the hard packed icy sheets that the neighbors didn't take care of?

take care of it yourself

I personally reported a few neighbors because I have to get out to walk my dog. It is dangerous conditions when they’re just lazy and leave the sidewalk a sheet of ice. Additionally, we are on a walking route to multiple schools so I guess the kids either risk the ice or walked in the road, which is one lane because apparently in Arlington we’re only capable of plowing down the middle of the street. No I’m not gonna take my shovel and walk all around Arlington shoveling when homeowners can’t even bother to shovel themselves. There are extenuating circumstances, but everyone knows those neighbors who are repeat offenders. Probably the same people that drive with snow on top of their car, which by the way is illegal and dangerous.

Did you see the picture of a few snow patches in an otherwise plowed parking lot that some anonymous APS employee just posted in AEM? I really believe some people are too precious to drive again until everything is melted away.

Somehow all the Amazon drivers and grocery store workers and fed employees (yesterday when OPM opened) etc. manage to function, but this person (who clearly made it safely to work and was able to post) just cannot believe they had to go in today. 2 hours late mind you.

I can’t believe this ridiculousness is getting any support from commenters.

It's par for the course for AEM. Lots of nutcases in that echo chamber.

Do we think we are looking at a delay again tomorrow? Even with the delay- several Yorktown kids got stuck in the snow this morning. It was pretty bad.

Anonymous wrote:Get off of the site and go shovel your GD sidewalks! I am driving around and reporting everyone of you that has not shoveled and you will get a fine. I will keep doing this every day until you shovel. Terrible neighbors that you are. Only care about daycare for your kid, but don’t care that other children can get a concussion from falling and cracking their head on your icy Sidewalks because you’re too busy sitting behind a keyboard being a Internet warrior. Look how good going to school did for you

People build up some deranged strawmen on here. Our house is shoveled and we helped our neighbors. My kids went to school and definitely did not sign a worthless petition asking for two more days off school.

The change.org petition was wild though and provided several minutes of hilarity for my family. I especially enjoyed the mildly threatening corndog cat posted by Sebastian. The kids are all right.
