This is too vague for me to follow.
If you are upset that you aren’t getting enough “lean protein and veggies” and/or that you have to eat things wrapped in puff pastry - for one meal at a party, not every day - you have an eating disorder.
Actually that is false. Those who do consume such food stuffs as "pigs in a blanket" (belch) have the actual disordered eating. You, sadly, do not know what real food is. If you did, you would realize that puff pastry made with whole grain sifted flour and butter churned from milk from organic, grass fed cows, is fine in moderation.
I really hope you aren’t raising children with views like “those who consume pigs in a blanket have disordered eating.” There is no much privilege and ignorance reeking from that statement that it is a lot more “blech” than the appetizer you hate. Some people can’t afford and have access to milk from “organic, grass fed cows” and you’re labelling them disordered for eating what is accessible to them. Some people eat them occasionally by choice and at parties, and GASP, they don’t have eating disorders either.
Please read some current work by actually RDs, your kind of willful ignorance isn’t a good look.
