We already submitted MAP scores (which were 99th percentile Verbal and 88th Math). His HSPTs came back with 99th percentile Verbal and 86th Math. Should I submit them in addition? They're not as good as the MAP scores, but maybe it's a different norm so better anyway?
Just my two cents, the MAP scores for math are a better indicator of skill going into high school so I wouldn't stress about the math being 2 percentiles lower. There are more questions in the HSPT about things like conversion of units between cups, pints, quarts, and gallons etc that really don't pertain to anything kids do in high school. Two 99th percentiles are fabulous though so submitting both shows consistency for very different tests.
