My Jewish friends like it. They are very serious about this kids finding partners in their faith and the school has a large Jewish population. Not crushing any rankings but their kids seem to like it.

Muhlenberg is exactly what it is.

It's a small school, in a slightly depressed town that offers little for most college students, and the immediate area is very quiet with little available off-campus. There is no sports culture and the campus social scene is very quiet.

If you think the college activities and clubs will keep your kid engaged, then it could be a good choice.

If a PP is correct that it's now 70/30 female/male, that would mean a very large %age of the men (50%+) play a varsity sport. Not sure if that is a positive or negative.

Honestly we didn't see this when we toured. We were there on fall break, and the dining hall was closed. Some students were still on campus, including the athletes. We watched a student walk up and try the locked door to the dining hall at lunchtime.

This was a big turnoff! Wouldn't a school that takes care of its students give them food over fall break?

Also the nearby town is really gross.
