MAGA ≠ Republicans
Plz explain
Who really cares?! The majority of the country voted for Trump and he won. Can we please move forward?

It does not line up with leadership Americans want - from woke to open borders to climate spending without end. Nope. Rework what's important.
You democrats dump all over honest work in favor of aristocracy, elitism and financialization of our economy. If you don't get it you don't get it. You lost every swing state and spent 50% more than Trump whilst attacking him with the legal system.... and you still lost.
Judging from recent statements from Alec Baldwin, Sharon Stone, Rob Reiner, The View, Gavin Newsom, MSNBC, and others, the message has not been received. Please continue on. Your move.

The problem is, I don’t know of ANY former MAGAs. That’s the scary part. Sure, I know of republicans who didn’t vote for him this time. But I am talking about the full-on MAGA folks. The rally goers, insurrectionists, folks with Trump tattoos, etc. The ones who can’t see any fault in anything he does. Nobody seems to leave this cult.
So, if you are out there, please share. What was your mindset? How/why were you able to dismiss everything he has done? What happened to finally change your mind? Any suggestions on how to help our friends/relatives see the light? Any insight would be much appreciated!
To those of you who are about to call me dramatic for calling it a cult…when you are in a cult, you don’t know you are in a cult.

I’m a Harris voter and you are why we lost. You need to leave your own deep cult.
They are a cult. Think these weird posts like this are done by trolls for clicks and advertising.

A segment of people have extreme enthusiasm for Trump, but I can see why. He is unlike any politician in history. He has been shot at, prosecuted, impeached, and demonized non stop by the media, despite being very popular among our nation’s citizens. There are just no democrats candidates that even democrats are excited or enthusiastic about- sorry. No one was excited Harris was running. Remember the pussy hats? What about all the pride flags and paraphernalia? Is that a cult?
People expressing enthusiasm about a candidate, political movement, or a cause doesn’t make it or them a cult
A cult is defined as "a misplaced or excessive admiration for a particular person or thing". In other words, MAGA. Believing in alternate realities about everything he is, does, or says is the epitome of excessive admiration. So is wearing tampons on your ear, wearing diapers in support, assaulting the Capitol, etc. This person isn't expressing excessive (and unusual) admiration?
You really, really don’t want to go down the rabbit hole of finding pictures of disturbed people and ascribing them to entire blocks of voters. You aren’t going to come out ahead on that one.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Here's how you know they're in a cult. They never, ever criticize Trump on here. For anything.
You see plenty of dems that criticized Biden, Kamala or Obama though.
Simple as that.
Wrong. He's fat, his golf swing is overrated, and he needs to shut his mouth and listen more. His policies made him a better option.

Disagree. It isn’t excessive adoration. It is meant to be funny, gain attention, and be publicity stunts during a campaign. People aren’t praying to Trump several times per day, have shrines in their home for him, etc. Most people that voted for him never even talk about him at all.
