First Amendment has never been a blanket protection to tweet or say whatever you want -You can't threaten to harm or kill someone of destroy their property, you can't falsely hold Yourself out to be police or licensed professional if you aren't, you can face repercussions if you tell lies about someone, you cant take someone else's intellectual property rights, and so on.
That's not "tyranny"- and frankly it's sad that people do these kinds of horrible things.

The folks like Trump seem to understand well that it is so easy to get the voters' eyes off of the hall with these agitation tactics. And everyone is falling for it. Instead of wagging your finger at the left for reacting, maybe stop and look at the bigger picture, including your own side.

Current job is m’eh, but certainly easier than sone other things I’ve done in life. Didn’t go to an Ivy. Army combat Vet of OEF and OIF, screwed by the VA (like everyone else). No grandkids yet, thankfully. Need another decade before I can accept that. Keep our yard tidy and grass mowed and help my neighbors all the time with stuff. Was a volunteer firefighter for years, but my increasing deafness from combat operations put a stop to that. I used to love seeing concerts, now, it’s all sounds like it’s underwater. All in all, it’s been a fun ride so far. So being me isn’t bad at all. And I’ve certainly given our country more than you have, so there’s that. Hope that helps you with your imagining thing.
You got paid for your service. Spare us this bullshit about giving more to the country than us. You aren’t entitled to anything, much less deference.

Always funny to me how veterans think they’ve given soooo much to our country because they went and fought in a war nobody wanted that was only started so rich people could get richer. “But they hate us because of our freedom!” No they don’t, they hate us because of 400 years of us messing around with their country and leaving them impoverished.
The person who works at a grocery store to feed everyone, the women who has kids so our pyramid scheme of an economy can keep going, the daycare worker who helps raise those kids so the parents can keep contributing to said economy, the sanitation workers who keep everything clean so we don’t all die….they all contribute just as much to our country as a veteran. They were just smart enough to not sign away their life and mental health in exchange for $40k a year.
Please keep reminding us of this stuff. It’s important.
Critically important that we be reminded that this is how Musk fanboys see the US military: as “suckers and losers.”
Raise it as often as possible. Definitely, talking this way about the people in the country in control of our most lethal arms cannot go wrong for Musk.
