Biden more recently gave Ukraine the greenlight to use the missiles the US was providing against targets deep inside Russia.
Putin has now announced a change in nuclear policy, that they are ok with using nuclear weapons as a first strike against countries that use weapons provided by nuclear countries against Russia,
Maybe, just maybe we should stop poking the bear? What did we gain when we overthrew the Ukrainian government and turned them into a proxy fighting force to kick off this whole kerfuffle?

People noted prepping abroad and asking what we were doing here in DCUMlandia. If these countries are telling the general populace to prepare, are they canaries in the coal mine for us?
The possibilty seems to ratcheted up for a few years but the lead up feels like it is shrinking.
Are countries like Poland warning people too?
No
This is just another clumsy attempt to drive up fear.
So these reports are false. These countries are not telling their people to prepare?

Russia will only invade Finland if Putin has a notion to restore Russia’s land to the way it was pre-Bolshevik revolution.

Moldova will be first. Which will be easy. And then the Russians will move on to the Baltics. Latvia and Estonia are roughly a quarter ethnic Russian, a far higher percentage than Ukraine. They will certainly destabilize those countries. But the moment a Russian soldier touches the Baltics, it becomes an Article V moment. And I think Putin will do it while Trump is in power. NATO will be tested in the next four years.

Trump’s daddy and the Chinese are over there waving missiles around and cutting communications lines underwater, so it’s just like preparing for hurricane season. Get batteries, have an emergency supply, know where the shelters are, etc.
However, they are NATO members now, it would be pretty stupid to attack them directly.

It's more than this. Finland has a very long history of conflict with Russia. Russian tried to invade Finland in 1939-1940, but basically was unable to succeed and ended in the Moscow Peace Treaty. The Finns have lived with an aggressive USSR/Russia on their border for almost 100 years, and until the Ukraine invasion, their strategy was to have an incredibly strong defense that incorporated the whole society.
Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, all Finns, Estonians, Latvians, Lithuanians and Poles are convinced at the government and grassroots level, that they are next after Ukraine. Everyone anticipates that if the Russian invasion ends with either a cease fire or peace treaty that leaves Russia in control of any Ukrainian territory - any of the Donbas or Crimea - that Russia will simply use the absence of fighting to rearm and then destabilize and attack Poland and the Baltics.
While it seems stupid to attack NATO, if Trump makes it clear that the US won't come to Europe's defense, Putin will see that as a green light for a narrow window in which he can attack again without any repercussions. Even if he doesn't do it openly, he is already running a shadow war all across Europe -- cutting communication cables, setting fire to critical installations, assassinating opponents in England, Spain, and Germany, testing the air and sea space by violating former boundaries on the daily, etc.
This isn't some chicken little fantasy, this is their lived history for the last century and more. Everyone in Europe knows what is coming sometime in the next 4 or 5 years. Only the US is so stupid and naive as to believe that we can force Ukraine and Russia to sign a peace treaty and all this will go away.
The border has been there for more than 100 years and they have dealt with Russia as a neighbor from time eternity and shall continue to have that border for all eternity.
If only the lunatics in the middle east could understand/realize the same
