I’m 100% a democrat voter, but this whole condescending attitude is why democrats lost support.

+1000 I stopped voting dem except local city elections because of this rhetoric.

Condescending, like Trump’s photo op at Mcdonald’s?

Voters loved that. Why? Because it’s genuinely true that the man loves McDonald’s.

They were fooled into voting for the guy who pretender to work at a closed McDonalds for a photo op instead of the woman who actually worked at McDonalds because she didn’t inherit $400 million. We’ll see how that works out.

Trump did the photo op to mock Harris for claiming she worked at McDonald's. It's the same thing he did with the garbage truck. Democrats are slow.

It’s dumb. If you want to watch this stupid stuff maybe watch reality TV. That is part of the reason we are in this mess. People think our politics should be entertainment. Thanks, Trump. Dysfunction central now.

+1

Exactly - what anti Trump folks don't get is that he's truly smarter than most with regard to marketing. The guy is an idiot except in marketing. He's always sold himself. Authentically. You can despise him but he's never wavered from being himself. People trust him even though he's untrustworthy. Why? Because when it comes to public communications and visibility, Trump is very honest. Kamala has an image prob same as Hillary.

He's honestly a buffoon and a nut job but there's something to be said for being yourself in politics. If war was coming, he'd tell you whereas Team Biden... you know

Well, when your entire party is mocking people who can’t afford groceries, you don’t tend to win, but do go on.

No one mocks people for having trouble affording groceries. Democrats are mocking the fact that people who can’t afford groceries voted for a charlatan who not only has no plan for reducing the price of groceries, but who lacks a basic understanding of most issues and doesn’t care about poor people, and who heads the political party that tells people to lift themselves up by their own bootstraps and gives tax cuts to the rich, pretending that wealth will trickle down. They literally voted for the government least likely to help them.

Well, what has Biden done to address the concerns of these people other than to tell them the economy is doing well?

Inflation has gone down (reminder caused by a botched pandemic) but people can’t pay attention to facts anymore.

But prices haven't....

Yes, and when Trump was asked by Fox’s Harris Faulkner how he will bring down prices, he said energy is the key to bringing prices down, and when you make donuts, the energy is the stove and the truck that takes the donuts to the store.

That’s the kind of keen insight Trump has into the issue.

Yeah, wait until his mind-bendingly stupid tarrifs kick in and he deports all the farm workers. Groceries will go UP, not down.

You are splitting hairs. The Democrats are absolutely mocking people who can’t afford food. They are also insulting them, wishing them harm, and generally being objectively awful people to people who are far poorer than them.

And then they are confused as to why they lost in such spectacular fashion. Perhaps they shouldn’t be so quick to refer to other people as stupid, since they are too slow to figure out this particular and quite obvious problem.

The democrats are the ones who ran a candidate who offered solutions for increasing costs at the grocery store. The problem is, people voted for someone who didn't even offer a concept of a plan on that front. THAT is why they are being mocked. We are ALL impacted by high grocery prices.

Harris had "solutions" that wouldn't have survived a day in court. That's what we call empty promises.

So what is the GOP solution?

Who cares about solutions? We just don't want lies.

Why on earth should anyone trust the Democrats when they’re the ones telling people inflation is under control, crime is down, and the border isn’t open?

It’s gaslighting plain and simple.

Because the facts matter.

The economy is the best in the world. That doesn't mean grocery prices aren't high - they are. That is price gouging and Capitalism. Harris offered solutions for that, Trump didn't.

The border crossings are below 2019 levels when Trump was president, but you don't see that anywhere, do you? And Trump is the one who killed the GOP immigration and border reform bill.

and, crime nationally is down, but that doesn't mean there isn't crime.
