You are the main actor in a “Four Quadrant” movie, an extremely expensive movie that, to cover it costs, needs to bring in ticket buyers of all political opinions, ages, races, and income levels Rachel Zegler did the thousands of people who worked on Snow White an enormous disservice with her comments. You can’t cover $700M (production costs plus print and marketing) when half the country, many with large families, are immediately turned off. Just an absolute idiotic brat.

The character is a German princess named for “having skin as white as snow” and being “the fairest in the land.” Zegler does not fit the description of the character. I believe she is only 1/4 Colombian, but she has a very Hispanic/mestizo phenotype and is not believable as Snow White, imo.


Lol! When i was a little girl and there was literally no Asian representation in Disney cartoons except duplicitous siamese cats in 101 Dalmations, i identified with Snow White because i thought she was East Asian. I mean, there are not as many white people with jet black hair than there are Koreans.

Because she was trashing the original version of the movie rather than paying homage and antagonizing the fanbase. It turns out, fans don't like that and Disney doesn't want to lose a bunch of money on this. I'm sure the analytics on the trailer were horrible.

She didn’t start an entertainment conglomerate nor write a timeless book nor invent a new art.

This. Enormous talent and very pretty, but she needed to mature and get life experience before becoming a star. It all came too easily and she became entitled and rude. She's trying to do a U turn and act humble and professional, but it's too late.

I have strong political beliefs, but I don't impose them on people especially while I am working. I also value different perspectives. I also know not to criticize anything work related. If you sign on you do it with professionalism.

I suspect if she matures, gains perspective and gets good guidance and coaching she will not totally tank her career and will gradually grow in popularity again. The film will be rediscovered and perhaps even beloved. I think now too many people avoid it out of spite for her attitude. Ariana Grande and others have bounced back from bratty behavior. Zegler can too.

I also liked Cinderella. I haven't seen the others, but I'm seeing this one because my kid wants to. I don't expect it'll be any good, but I doubt it'll be the worst movie she's wanted to see.
