Harvard said they needed racial preferences otherwise the black population would drop by more than half and the economist for SFFA more or less agreed with them that the black population would polummet without racial preferences.

That was the ENTIRE REASON they had the lawsuit.

Anyone who is discriminated against by a college accepting applications based on anything other than merit can and should sue the college the same way a mortgage lender can be sued for approving or not approving applications based on gender or ethnicity or marital status. Discriminating against asians? Most universities currently have a disproportionately high representation of asians.
