They already have their lists of the ones that count.

We have some major issues right to solve including a border crisis, war in the Middle East, etc. No one cares about Feds RTO or other BS.

Dude. Who do you think does the work to solve these major issues?

Fed here. I live in CA now but this reminds me years ago of watching Tea Party protesters march around with their signs, “Keep the government out of Medicare” 😂

Like he said he was going to build a wall last time. Didn’t happen.

And remember “drain the swamp”. Also never happened.

I am a fed and it hurts to say but a lot of feds have no value. They are dead weight and don't do anything new at their job. Cut down the red tape and may be hire less contractors and let all the senior loafers go.

Same here. I keep reading that people are so happy to live in Maryland bc it’s a solidly blue state but it’s actually hard to be in this area and not think about politics all of the time.

I'm an AUSA, so no. We will be busier than ever.
Project 2025 wants to give us a raise.

Are you kidding? I could get a different job but it would likely be very disruptive to our life as well as carry a different set of layoff risks. But I have to at least consider it.

I liked being in federal service because I loved my public safety mission, and the stability for someone from a poor background was the clincher.

Now all that is tossed asunder. Just for the record, I get worked up whenever companies exercise layoffs to goose stock price, and rhe whole Better Mortgage mass layoff had me seething. We need a better social compact and companies need to value stakeholders not just shareholders.

Well, now that ship has sailed. The Republicans value corporate profits above all. The environment? What’s a little pollution. Food/drug safety? So what if there’s a salmonella outbreak? It’s the cost of doing business, right?
